Overview of the course
Located in Long Beach and overlooking Cam Ranh Bay, KN Golf Links will definitely seduce every visitor with the view of its blue, peaceful sea and its shore with sand so white shining under the sun. This 27 holes golf course is a part of the KN Paradise, an 800-ha tourist attraction with various luxurious facilities and services.
KN Golf Links course has an impressive length of 7165 yards. Golfers can choose between 2 courses, The Links with 18 holes and The Oasis with 9 holes. The Links course is a magnificent link-style course with the landscape scattered with sand dunes and coastal vegetation. Golfers will clearly see Greg Norman’s touch in the design of KN Cam Ranh with rugged, sandy landscape and scrubby & bold sand traps scattering around greens and fairways. Moreover, the course offers gentle routing with rough fairways through mild undulated terrain. In addition, the view from the course is extraordinary as golfers will see the majestic mountains, sandy hills, and the blue ocean. Besides, the sight of the sunset viewed from KN can surely take your breath away. At KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, the sea breeze is a constant element and it will affect the golfers’ entire game. There are also five tee options to choose from to provide playability for golfers of every level.
In contrast to the ruggedness of The Links, The Oasis is a garden course with a milder landscape of countryside design inspired by the local landscape. This course is signified by the water hazards and lovely stream, accompanied by unforgivable scenery so golfers can enjoy the game while admiring the landscape.
KN Golf Links Cam Ranh holes details
The Links provides golfers the best experience in terms of interesting and challenging holes. Players can really feel the link-style of the course with large sand bunkers and dunes in hole 14. The hole features strategically placed sand dunes which turned into various bunkers about 70 yards from the green to provide more options for the next swing. It is also reviewed as the best par 5 of the course. However, holes 6 par 5 is also an interesting one. The second shot must be precise as the elevated green ahead is surrounded by OB to the right, a penal bunker to the left, and an out of sight steep behind the green. There is also a bunker 100 yards from the green which requires golfers to do a layup and carry the ball to a wide swath. The ball then will be caromed to the left where a giant greenside bunker is waiting. What remains is an uphill wedge to a green lying diagonally to the line of play. Meanwhile, par 3s are amusing with an exception of hole 4 being a bit out of place with a green right next to the lake. Hole 2 on the other hand is a very nice one requiring a precise uphill swing to pass the dunes on two sides with skinny green sloping to the back. Last but not least, hole 12 is a challenging one with shallow green lies between a waste area and a hillside.
