Laguna Golf overview
Laguna Lang Co Golf Club is situated halfway between the ancient city of Hue and Danang, both of which are famous tourist destinations in Vietnam. It is 30 km North of Hue and only 35 km South of Da Nang. Hence, Laguna Golf Club is the perfect place to visit during a trip to the central region in Vietnam for golfers. In addition, the golf course is also situated by Chan May Beach, running along 3 km of the beach. The breeze from the beach cools down the atmosphere, bringing the best condition for golfers to fully concentrate on golf playing. Besides, the sea view with the range of sharp and undulating mountains creates a majestic sight for players to enjoy while playing golf.
Laguna golf course is an 18-hole golf course. The course designer is Sir Nick Faldo, the 6-time Major champion. The course layout has proved to be suitable for golfers of all levels from amateur to professional by the diversity of tee. The length of the champion tee is 7000 yards. The front tee is 5623 long. Also, Laguna Lang Co Golf Club is undeniably one of the top quality golf courses in Vietnam. The course achieved the Top 10 best golf courses in Vietnam award by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in 2018. It also gained the prize for Best Golf

The layout of the Laguna Golf Course shows the variety of different elements of the natural environment. It starts with the rice paddy fields then golfers find themselves into thick jungles and then dive themselves in the beauty of Lang Co coastline. Holes number 1 to 4 are constructed on the old rice fields as a way to integrate the natural beauty of Vietnam as well as preserve the native nature and show off the country's culture. Then, holes number 5 and 6 enable golfers to discover forest along with mountain ranges. Besides, the unique feature of the course is sand bunkers as 80% of the course is sand bunkers. This increases both the level of difficulty and excitement of the game layout.
Playing holes on the course
When it comes to playing, every hole in Laguna Lang Co Golf Club owns distinct features and represents a new challenge to golfers. The most signature hole is the par-3 5th one. With a large mound formed on the green, it bears a strong resemblance to the peak of a mountain. Thus, golfers have to carefully consider how to hit the ball to get a perfect shot.
Another hole golfers don’t want to miss is the par-5 ending hole, an amazing dog-leg one. Besides, the bunkers and water hazards surrounding would bring both obstacles and great excitement for golfers to conquer the round.
Hole number 4 with par 4, 471 yards is also considered a strong dogleg situated by the rice paddy. This requires golfers to have a shot with a high ball and distance to get the elevated green guarded by rice paddies & a wide bunker.
Additionally, the 11th hole represents a challenge to golfers with mountain and rock although its length is only 167 yards. The distance might seem to be shorter compared with other holes, however, players need to estimate carefully to avoid natural obstacles such as rock bordering the green.

To maintain sustainable development for the course, the designer did his best to keep the surrounding landscape unaffected by the construction of Laguna Langco.
