The overview of the golf course
Mong Cai International Golf Club is in Mong Cai, Quang Ninh, Vietnam. With the investment from Vinh Thuan Joint Venture, Mong Cai Golf course is expected to become a popular tourist destination to attract more local and foreign visitors as well as promoting tourism in Quang Ninh Province. Located in the heart of Co Tra Beach, it has become the first coastal golf course in Vietnam. It also owns a spectacular scenery that attracts hundreds of visitors per year. In addition, Mong Cai Golf Course is designed as a link-style golf course and separated into 2 areas: one for practice and the other for holding competitions. Therefore, golfers could always set up their golfing time on any day without worrying about interfering with the events organized in this Hanoi golf course.
Mong Cai golf course is an 18-hole course built according to international standards. The total length of golf lines is 7204 yards with 72 strokes and it has a total area of 2.000.000 m2. The direction of the wind is not consistent due to its location by the sea, creating greater difficulties for golfers to calculate the accurate shot. However, it would also keep the players excited as with the same golf line, they might have to choose different ways of hitting due to different wind directions. Additionally, the bunkers have a design inspired by the sand holes in Scotland. If golfers are not familiar with this type of bunker, it would take more time for them to practice and overcome these obstacles.
