Overview of the golf course
Phoenix Golf Resort is among the biggest golf resorts in Vietnam with 3 courses with a total of 7206 yards in length. The scenery of Phoenix Golf will blow golfers away as it was built on a beautiful area that is usually called “Halong Bay on land”.
Phoenix Golf Resort has a par 72 pure-play golf course with 54 holes. It has a harmonious design using the existing natural landscape to create a romantic scenery for golfers to admire while playing. The surrounding area offers rice paddies stretching to the horizon to enhance the loveliness of the area. Golfers can also see the majestic limestone outcroppings from many holes of the course which resemble the landscape of the famous Halong Bay.
Generally, the terrain of Hoa Binh province gives Phoenix golf course the signature mountainous landscape and layout. Surrounding the course are vegetation and forests so golfers need to be careful not to get the balls stuck in the middle of the trees. Besides, all of the golf courses of the resort offer harsh fairways and green undulations. In addition, the routing is fantastic as it leads around the wonderful limestone cliffs to give a sense of awe on each hole.

Phoenix Golf Resort Hoa Binh features 3 different courses for golfers: Phoenix Course, Dragon Course, and Champion Course.
The Phoenix and Dragon courses are designed in a hilly, mountainous fashion style and are really flexible so golfers from every level can play. On the other hand, the Champion is a link-style open course with a bit higher difficulty than the others.
Out of three courses, the Dragon Course is the most impressive. Beside the mountainous landscape and the surrounding green forest, the lovely streams only enhance the already beautiful course, making charmingly romantic views for rounds of golf. The front nine is challenging and will force golfers to take a deep breath before each shot. On the contrary, the back nine is fairly forgiving as the routing leads you back to the clubhouse, revealing a closing stretch containing various stunning holes to play. Most spectacular must be hole 18 par 4, featuring a deep ravine lying on the front left of the green to protect it. Another great hole is the 14th with a water hazard that splits the fairway in half. The strategy for this hole is to hit across the lake to create a more forgiving approach of keeping to the left and then carry over water to reach the green. The 16th is also interesting as there are 3 challenging fairway bunkers surrounding a small landing spot and 2 pot bunkers on the left side of the green.
Facilities and Services in Phoenix Golf Resort
Phoenix Golf Resort Hanoi features a European-style clubhouse with an impressive area of 9573m2. The said clubhouse offers many luxurious services to satisfy golfers. Its high-quality restaurant with a capacity of 200 people will serve the finest dishes from all over the world. There are also member-only locker rooms with 650 lockers for the gentlemen and the ladies. In addition, golfers will gain access to luxurious shower rooms made from the purest materials. Moreover, the banquets and the conference rooms are also available. In terms of accommodation, the resort offers 190 rooms for golfers to stay and relax. Other services include massage, pool, and pro shop.

The Phoenix Golf Resort is located in Hoa Binh, 40km from Hanoi. It takes around 60 minutes of drive time from the center of Hanoi City to get to the golf course.
