Overview of the golf course
Stone Valley Golf Resort (Kim Bang Golf Course) is an attractive golf destination in Northern Vietnam, located in the Tam Chuc Tourist Area, and about 65 kilometers to the South of Hanoi. This 18-hole course (increase the scale to 36 holes soon) is designed by talented golf course architect Brian Curley of Schmidt-Curley Design. He was also responsible for designing the world-famous Mission Hills golf course system. Therefore, every hole in Stone Valley Golf Course receives detailed attention, bringing a unique sense of different challenges to players. It is not surprising that this elite golf course has also been chosen as the venue for various golf tournaments, domestic as well as international.
Going through the Stone Valley Golf
Stone Valley Golf Resort has a total scale of almost 200 hectares, invested by Truong An Group. This 7280-yard course is surrounded by mountains that form a natural green wall, far away is Tam Chuc Tourist Area. Stone Valley course features diverse landscape types such as flat terrain, rocky hills, stone valleys, with stunning mountain views that resemble Halong Bay of Vietnam. Along with that are Celebration Bermuda grass fairways and tees, and TifEagle greens. The green area is quite impressive, including ridges, slopes and backstops as well as less challenging flat areas.
During the first nine holes that feature low-flow streams and large lakes, players can easily access many with just a drive. The rocky terrain only appears until the sixth hole. And then in the back nine, golfers will meet some of the most dramatic holes that challenge more skillful players. Especially, playing at the last four holes will give golfers a panoramic view across majestic mountains and valleys surrounding Stone Valley Golf Resort. In the future, Stone Valley Golf Resort promises to bring an even more ecstatic experience for golfers and will rise to become one of the best golf courses in Hanoi.
