Jeongsan Golf Course Overview
Lying on an island in the middle of Saigon River, Taekwang Jeongsan Country Golf Club is the third biggest golf course in Dong Nai. Owned by an advanced Korean company and designed by a famous USA business, Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club will definitely bring international-level of quality and top-tier services. It is the first golf course in Vietnam to allow players to travel by the club’s boating service.
Jeongsan golf club is an 18-hole course with a length of 7295 yards and an area of 84 ha. The course is built on Ong Con Island in Saigon River so it is really suitable for golfers wanting to escape from the busy city. Moreover, the isolation from the urban area gives Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club a natural and relaxing scenery. Furthermore, Jeongsan golf course is designed by Ron Fream from Golfplan Company, a magnificent golf designer. With the design philosophy of combining science and art, the course is like a beautiful painting. The natural landscape accompanied by artificial facilities is so harmonious golfers will feel like everything was made by mother nature.
The golf course is pretty flat, however, heavy bunkering has made up for the shortcoming. The bunkers are many and placed strategically to provide challenges and enjoyment during the entire play. In addition, the Wall-to-wall fairways, tees, and greens use the modern Paspalum grass to ensure the preferred lies and plush conditions.
Taekwang Jeongsan Country Golf Club has 2 nines, the Sun - outside course (3558 yards) and the Moon - inside course (3737 yards). The Sun offers lovely scenery with a peaceful river flowing through it. There are also fantastic views from some of the holes of these nine. Golfers may be interested in some striking holes of the course. Hole 9 and 18 are the most significant with the 9th being a long par 4 and the 18th a dogleg par 5. These two holes play in the right of the clubhouse so players need to be cautious and play the right green. Both holes also share a bunker between their green with the 9th’s green being on the left and 18th on the right.

How to reach Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club
Taekwang Jeongsan is located on Ong Con Island, 60km away from Ho Chi Minh city. It takes 90 minutes to travel from a hotel in the center of Saigon to the club. Visitors can take a ferry across Saigon rivers, or charter a speedboat taxi from the pier in District 1 (opposite to Majestic Saigon Hotel) to cut the time down to 30 minutes.
