An overview of Van Tri Golf Course
Van Tri Golf Club is the first exclusively private golf course, and only golfers with membership are allowed. The number of members is limited to 400 people to ensure the course brings the best quality and service to players. Besides, the golf course is situated near Hanoi International Airport, and the traveling time is around 30 minutes. This location is very convenient for golfers who have a tight schedule and hardly find much spare time for their golf playing.
The designer of the golf course is Peter Rousseau, from P + Z Design Company. The layout is the combination of traditional values and an intriguing approach that maintains the level of challenge throughout time. In addition, with Vietnam Best Design’s Golf Course achieved in 2009, it is undeniable that Van Tri golf course owns impressive natural scenery. It is the balance and perfect combination of colors of sand, river streams, and trees that create such a majestic and peaceful view of the course. Furthermore, the golf club has also managed to maintain sustainable development throughout the operating time. In 2009, Van Tri Golf Club was recognized as Vietnam’s most eco-friendly golf course. It also meets international standards in protecting and managing the surrounding environment.
From the medal tees, the golf course measurement is 6700 yards, but it stretches to roughly 7600 yards from Tiger Tees. In addition, the flat terrain of Van Tri golf course allows golfers of any level to practice and challenge themselves. The golf course is situated on the southern part of Van Tri Dam, so water hazards cover half of the holes of the course. Without accuracy in golf lines, it is easy to be trapped by these obstacles.
Playing the most amazing holes
Hole number 4 is undoubtedly one of the best golf holes par three as you can contemplate the spectacular scenery of the whole golf club. However, it could be rather challenging for golfers to choose the right approach. While hole 16 (par 3) and hole 18 are the easiest ones to attain Birdie, it is also essential to be aware of the surrounding bunkers. Hole 17 is the signature hole. It requires the first shot to be straightforward, while for the second shot, you need to be aware of the bunkers on both sides of the fairway. The third shot is rather challenging as there is a meandering creek before you could reach the green.

The clubhouse of Van Tri Golf Club offers golfers with plenty of services, including well-protected lockers and changing rooms. There are also fine dining restaurants serving both international and local cuisine, spa and massage service, private rooms for VIP membership.
