Overview of the golf course
Yen Dung Golf Club is a fascinating destination for golfers who are planning on vacation while being able to spend time on golf playing. This golf course is one of the leading Hanoi golf courses, as well as the most luxurious resorts in the northern region of Vietnam. The golf course is located around 50 km northeast of Hanoi, and it takes roughly 1 hour to reach Yen Dung golf club. The course layout is fashioned by Albanese & Lutzke, US top company in design and construction management of golf course. Many of its designed golf courses have attained both national and international awards in golf course layout and construction.
Discovering impressive features
Set on magnificent Nam Bien Mountain, Yen Dung Golf Course covers a large area of around 190 ha. This 36-hole course is divided into 2 phases: 18 holes in Hillside course and 18 holes in Rock Valley Course. The latter is planned to come into complete construction and operation soon.
For the golf lines in Hillside course, the architectures have managed to take advantage of the downhill slopes and create bunkers with water hazards to increase the difficulty for golfers. Besides, every golf hole of Yen Dung Golf is constructed on different heights with spiral routing creating twists & turns, which produces some unexpected challenges for golfers. However, it also brings the players great excitement and satisfaction to have the best shot while standing on the top of the hill to enjoy the majestic view of the northern region in Vietnam. Moreover, the course also owns a unique lake design inspired by the Legendary Vietnamese Turtle. From hole number 4, you would find the Green similar to the turtle’s shell, while 5 bunkers surrounding are its head and legs. This design bears a resemblance to the scene of a tortoise moving out of the water.
Additionally, Yen Dung Golf Course is famous for its windy weather, and it brings the golfers the experience as if they are at a link golf course near the beach.
